Faces of Foster: Volunteer Profiles


Randy volunteers to lead horseback trail rides, teach the Boots and Saddles program, and assist in managing our herd.	Chuck volunteers to teach archery, assist with office work, and support special 100th Anniversary projects.	Michael "Chief" volunteers to serve as the Chaplain in supporting counselors with chapel services and devotionals.

Volunteer Opportunities

Below are just a few of the opportunities for volunteers. We are happy to provide training/certification in all of these areas. Just tell us what sounds best for you:

Program Team

Teach students activities such as archery and riflery
Lead horseback trail rides
Lifeguard for activities such as swimming and canoeing
Facilitate team building programs such as low ropes, rock climbing, and zipline

Support Team

Cook meals for outside groups
Drive buses to transport students to/from camp
Serve as the nurse for special camp programs

Office Team

Make calls to update alumni records
Work on special 100th Anniversary Projects
Support business operation tasks

Facilities Team

Mow grass
Landscaping
Special maintenance projects
