Counselors-In-Training Program
Counselors in Training (CIT)
Ages 13-15
Session 1 (service opportunities Sessions 2-7)
Total Fee: $149 (training week)
CIT Rewards: $25, $50, or $75 (per week of service)
Our new CIT program gives older campers the opportunity to develop their leadership skills and learn how to work effectively with children. After a week of CIT training (Session 1), CIT's will have the opportunity to serve as Assistant Counselors during sessions throughout the rest of the summer. For each week of service, CIT's will earn the following CIT Rewards, which they can redeem to pay for Camp Foster or Bedell Family YMCA programs:
- 1st-Year CIT's = $25 in rewards per week
- 2nd-Year CIT's = $50 in rewards per week
- 3rd-year CIT's = $75 in rewards per week
Please review the CIT Information Letter, register for the CIT Program, and complete the CIT Application Packet and CIT Expectations Agreement. When we receive the application forms, we will contact the applicant for an interview.
